Book Coaching
From Book Idea to Published Author — and Recognized Expert
You’ve felt it for years—that quiet but persistent pull to share your story, your wisdom, your perspective with the world. You know you have something unique to say, something that could make a difference.
You’ve imagined the day your book is on the shelves, when someone messages you to say, “Your book changed my life,” and doors open for speaking, interviews, and opportunities you’ve only dreamed about.
The truth is, that can only happen if you decide to stop waiting. Every month you put this off is another month your book, your message, and your opportunities stay on hold. Every month turns into another year of silencing your purpose.
If you’re ready to see your book on the shelves, in the media, and opening doors you never imagined—then let's talk about what that will take...

My Journey to Get Published...
Hi, I’m Sarah!
When I started writing in 2009, I was just an unknown blogger and single mom of three, sharing my story and my journey to reinvent my life. I had no idea how to write, no industry connections, no platform, and no idea how publishing really worked. But I had a dream—to write a book that would inspire and help others.
When I told people I wanted to be a traditionally published author, most literally laughed in my face. They told me it was impossible. That I had zero chance.
But I refused to listen. I spent years learning everything I could about the industry and honing my writing skills through blogging. I wrote three full manuscripts that were all rejected.
I queried agents for four years before I finally landed the right one. And eventually, that persistence led to my first book deal for Hustle Believe Receive—the book that changed everything.
Since then, I’ve written three traditionally published books, with my fourth on the way.
-
Two became multiple #1 bestsellers
-
Several were featured in national press including making Inc Magazine's top 20 books of the year
-
Two are on Audible
-
One was sold in Target stores nationwide, all have been in Barnes & Noble and major bookstores nationwide
-
Two have been spotlighted by outlets like Inc., Glamour, Women’s World, Girls Life, ABC and Prevention
-
I’ve even ghostwritten a book for Ed Mylett.
-
I’ve landed my own national TV and magazine features without a team behind me—proving that an author can create their own momentum.
-
I've had my literary agent for over a decade
Now, I help aspiring authors fast-track the process it took me over a decade to master.
I know exactly how to turn an idea into a polished proposal, land an agent, navigate the publishing process, and promote a book so it gets noticed. I’ve done it the hard way so you don’t have to.
If you’ve been dreaming of seeing your book in print—and using it to open the doors to speaking, media, and expert opportunities—then I’m here to help you make that dream a reality.

-
A rock-solid book proposal that sells your unique idea, proves there’s an audience, and positions you as the expert (even if you’re not there yet) — including a detailed, chapter-by-chapter outline.
-
Three strong sample chapters (your first three) that showcase your writing style, tone, and voice.
-
A literary agent to pitch your proposal to publishers.
-
An author platform that shows publishers you can reach and engage your audience.
Fun fact: You do NOT need a completed manuscript to sell a non-fiction book.
What You Need to Get a Non-Fiction Book Deal:
Did You Know...
Publishing is one of the most competitive industries in the world.
Most writers never get past the idea stage, not because their book isn’t worthy, but because they don’t know how to navigate the process. I want you to go in with clear eyes, the right strategy, and a mentor who’s been exactly where you are — and has turned the "impossible" into a successful full-time business and lifestyle.
Here’s the reality:
-
Most books sell fewer than 1,000 copies — not because the idea isn’t good, but because the author didn’t have the right platform, proposal, and marketing plan in place.
-
Less than 1% of aspiring authors ever see their book on a bookstore shelf — but those who understand how to package their idea and pitch it the right way dramatically increase their odds.
-
You can’t get a traditional book deal without a literary agent, and agents sign only about 1 in every 1,000 writers who query them. That’s why your query letter, proposal, and positioning must stand out immediately.
-
Even after you land an agent, only 1–2% of proposals get picked up by a publisher. And once they do, most publishers offer little to no PR for first-time authors — which means you need to know how to create your own buzz and media opportunities.
This isn’t to scare you. It’s to show you why having the right guidance matters.
Against these odds, I’ve exceeded all the stats above — multiple times — and I can teach you how to do it too. When you know exactly how to position yourself, pitch your book, and market it strategically, you can beat the odds and make a massive impact in the world, changing lives.
I'm here to help you make that happen because I wish I'd had a mentor to guide me ten years ago.
I’ve lived the dream you’ve been imagining.
It can be a reality for you too!
I went from an unknown writer with a big dream to seeing my books in stores, speaking on stages, and being recognized as an expert. It wasn’t luck — it was strategy and hard work. And now I can show you exactly how to do it too.
When You Work With Me, Here’s What You’ll Accomplish in the first 4 Months
1. Turn Your Idea into a Publishable Book Concept
We’ll take the story, expertise, or message you’ve been dreaming about and transform it into a clear, compelling concept that agents and publishers will take seriously.
You’ll walk away with a chapter-by-chapter outline, a defined format and purpose, and a core message so strong you’ll know exactly what you’re writing — and why it matters.

2. Create an Official Proposal
-That Get's Noticed
Using the exact, industry-standard process I’ve used to sell all four of my books, I’ll guide you in crafting a polished, professional book proposal — along with the first three chapters — that positions you as a credible, marketable author.
You'll have a completed, official book proposal ready to send to agents, that they can send on to publishers.
You’ll also get my strategies for building the author platform publishers expect, so your proposal is impossible to ignore.
3. How to Get a Literary Agent
I’ll show you exactly how to identify, query, and pitch the agents who are the best fit for your book.
From crafting a standout query letter to targeting the right matches, you’ll learn how to stand out in an inbox full of submissions — and dramatically increase your chances of representation.
Plus I'll coach you on what to say and do when you get that all important meeting invite so that you can land an agent.
You won't just learn how to do this, you'll actually start querying agents and sending your new book proposal!

4. Position Your Book for Maximum Reach
I’ll walk you through the traditional publishing process so you know exactly what to expect — and how to excel at every step.
You’ll learn how to pitch yourself for TV, magazines, podcasts, and events so you’re seen not just as an author, but as the go-to expert in your field.
By the time we’re done, you’ll have the roadmap, materials, and confidence to launch your book into the world with impact. You can decide to self-publish or continue the traditional publisher route.
